The principal features of the work include supplying aggregate and cementitious materials; and batching and placing concrete. The requirement calls for base work and two (2) options. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 160 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This requirement is being procured under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB), and the resulting contract shall be one (1) Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction Supply contract. The set-aside for this procurement is Total Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 327390 – Other Concrete Product Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 9390 – Miscellaneous Fabricated Nonmetallic Materials. In accordance with DFARS 236.204(i), the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $10 Million and $25 Million.
