Up to 40,000 tons of 6 to 12” minus rounded cobble is expected to be placed within a 2,900 ft zone along the revetment. Construction will occur in one season and is expected to last 4-8 weeks based on available funding. Access to repair area would occur over existing roads and over the armored slope of the revetment near the east end of the paper mill near Sta. 151+00. Contractor must temporarily remove and stockpile armor stone to facilitate to the repair area. Upon completion of beach nourishment placement activities, contractor must rebuild the revetment using the stockpiled armor stone.
