## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT FROM SINGLE SOURCE (Ref. # W912DW25Q172B)

**Project Title:** Garbage Removal Services at Mud Mountain Dam (MMD) and Fish Passage Facility (FPF), Enumclaw, WA This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute for sole source acquisitions.

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Seattle District, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for garbage removal services at Mud Mountain Dam and Fish Passage Facility in Enumclaw, WA. The intended contractor is Waste Management of Washington, Inc. (SAM Unique Entity ID: MKLVEYAGNXC5) Description of work: The contractor will provide dumpsters and garbage pick-up services at the Mud Mountain Dam and Fish Passage Facility in Enumclaw, WA. The government will not post a solicitation.

The government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition of this requirement in the future would be advantageous to the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. All interested concerns MUST submit responses and questions to tam.c.huynh@usace.army.mil NO LATER THAN 16 May 2025 at 10:00 AM Pacific. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
