## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT FROM SINGLE SOURCE Project Title: Chief Joseph Dam (CJD) Law Enforcement Services This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute for sole source acquisitions.

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Seattle District, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for law enforcement services at Chief Joseph Dam in Bridgeport, WA. The intended contractor is the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, 110 NE 2nd St STE 200, East Wenatchee, WA 98802-4846.

Description of work: The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department will provide law enforcement, patrol services, annual training for the Rangers and Special Response Team (SRT) and Priority Responses for the duration of the period of performance, including all Federal Holidays and Presidential/Administrative closings. The government will not post a solicitation. The government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 922120 Police Protection.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition of this requirement in the future would be advantageous to the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
