## Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District intends to solicit a fixed price contract for repairs to the Patrol Boat (P/B) HOCKING. The solicitation will be restricted to shipyards within the boundary deemed safely navigable to reach by the P/B HOCKING in its current condition. P/B HOCKING’s starboard main engine is not currently operationable and will need to be rebuilt. Because P/B HOCKING only has one shaft operational, she will be limited in transit range to the NY Harbor.

P/B HOCKING is currently berthed at Caven Point Marine Temrinal in Jersey City, NJ and may require tug assistance to get to contractor facility for repairs. Given her current condition, contract work on the HOCKING shall be performed within the following boundary: The Southern most voyage shall be no further than the Verrazano Bridge, the Eastern most voyage shall be no further than the Williamsburg Bridge on the East River.

The Northern most reach shall be no further north than Stony Point on the Hudson River, and the Western most reach shall be no further than the Bayonne Bridge. Description of Work a. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, fittings, equipment, tools, power, compressed air, heat, water, etc., and performing all work on U.S. Patrol Boat "HOCKING" specified herein. The principal dimensions and physical data for the vessel are shown below:
