contract for the construction of a project at Joint Base-MDL, New Jersey. Summary of Work: The intent of this project is to construct a new 400 KW photovoltaic array (PV) in conjunction with a battery energy storage system (BESS) at 1.5 MW, microgrid controller, two 500kW natural gas generators. The necessary electrical support infrastructure will be installed to connect the PV array and BESS to the EVCF and building 678 through the existing building transformer. This will provide redundancy in the electrical distribution system and the black start ability to switch between grid power, on base resilient power, and generators at the critical facilities. The project also will include fire suppression system, all utilities, communications, site improvements, and associated support facilities.
