## Description

The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source purchase order to Fiberdyne Labs, Incorporated for Maintenance and Repair of the L.E.D. Flags and Video Screens at the Armed Forces recruiting Station located in Times Square, New York, NY and the Fordham Rd. This is not a formal solicitation or request for proposal.

This notice of intent is to give notice of the Government's intent to make a sole source award under the authority cited in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The general requirement is for one (1) base year of services plus four (4) options years. The services include Periodic (semi-annual) inspection and scheduled maintenance (quarterly) of the L.E.D.

Flags and video screen, Repair and replacement, on-call as needed, of modules, lighting and equipment of signage, maintenance of all computer software and systems for signage, on-going training, as needed of recruitment center personnel on signage software. Fiberdyne Labs, Incorporated designed and is the original manufacturer of the L.E.D U.S. Flag signage hardware and software, all replacement parts and operating software can be acquired only through Fiberdyne.

Fiberdyne has the exact replacement bulbs to interchange and meet exact brightness of bulbs currently on the flag. No other products have been found that can be considered interchangeable and if the original manufactures products are not used, the functionality and maintainability of the L.E.D. signs will not be possible. All responsible sources may submit a response, which, if received timely, will be considered by the agency. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability of other qualified sources that can meet the requirements identified above. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice of intent. All responses received prior to 2:00 PM on Monday; May 28, 2024, will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
