Each mooring dolphin micropile is socketed to rock using a threaded bar anchoring system. Each mooring dolphin is furnished with a new steel bollard for mooring and tubular steel rub rail connected to the existing concrete cap beam using post installed epoxy anchors. The new fender system is comprised of foam-filled camels braced against vertical steel pipe piles that are connected to molded rubber cone fenders with a fabricated steel guide pile sleeve assembly. Work also includes installation of new utility service and powering of project equipment.
