## Description

Furnish all Washington Aqueduct?s Caustic Soda 25% in accordance with these specifications. Caustic Soda is used at Washington Aqueduct?s two water treatment plants (WTPs), Dalecarlia WTP and McMillan WTP. Caustic Soda shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard B501, latest revision, for Caustic Soda, except as modified or supplemented herein, and shall be certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 60.
