The primary features of the dam include an earthen embankment; an uncontrolled spillway with concrete weir; and a gated outlet consisting of a control tower and concrete lined tunnel through bedrock. The wall is approaching 62 years old, is deteriorated, and has nearly eroded back to the state roadway.2. The scope of the project consists of constructing two reinforced concrete rock anchored walls to prevent continued progressive rock erosion which has led to fallen rock accumulation within the spillway and will ultimately lead to failure of Kettle Creek Road.
