HURREVAC stands for Hurricane Evacuation and is a restricted-use computer program funded by FEMA and USACE for use by government emergency managers to track hurricanes, support evacuation decision making, and provide data and information to support hurricane emergency management planning and operations. In addition, the Real Time Evacuation Planning Model (RtePM) is hosted on the same cloud server used to host HURREVAC. RtePM is a restricted-use, web-based transportation model designed to capture the impacts of traffic flow along a regional roadway network and calculate hurricane evacuation clearance time.
