Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform repairs to six (6) Sodium Hypochlorite tanks with 20,000 gallons capacity each at the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant, and six (6) Sodium Hypochlorite tanks with 15,000 gallons capacity each at the McMillan Water Treatment Plant as defined in this Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Background: In connection with the performance of its potable water treatment program, the Washington Aqueduct Division maintains municipal water treatment plants at two locations in Washington, DC. The Washington Aqueduct uses sodium hypochlorite in the disinfection processes of water treatment, and to comply with EPA requirements.
