Stoplogs and all stoplog components will be fabricated for the project, and once construction of the stoplog closure structures is complete, a test-fit of the stoplogs across Mainline Track No. 1 and Mainline Track No. 2 is required. Prime Contractor construction experience within railroad right-of-way is required. To facilitate construction and test-fit of the stop logs, UPRR will require approval of construction submittals, including a phasing plan and temporary shoring plans, and obtaining temporary track outages. Construction will require flagging operations for all activities within 25 feet of the track or if equipment has the potential to foul track. Stoplog storage structures are to be provided to store all stoplog components on each levee unit. The solicitation will be posted and available on SAM.gov on or about 09 March 2026 and bids will be due approximately 45 days later. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 237990, with a size standard of $45,500,000.00. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is: Between $5,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. Submission requirements and evaluation procedures will be detailed in the actual solicitation. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 730 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
