The south bridge (UPRR #3) contains two sets of railroad tracks: Mainline Track No. 1 and Mainline Track No. 2. The north bridge (MOPAC) contains two sets of railroad tracks: Track No. 3 and Track No. 202.Floodwalls are to be constructed to the north and the south of the closure structures and tie into existing floodwalls on the ARM side. Closure structures on the CID side connect to earthen levees. Stoplogs and all stoplog components need to be fabricated for the project, and once construction of the stoplog closure structures is complete, a test-fit of the stoplogs across Mainline Track No. 1 and Mainline Track No. 2 is required. To facilitate construction and test-fit of the stop logs, UPRR will require the approval of construction submittals, including a phasing plan, temporary shoring plans, and obtaining temporary track outages.
