## Description

Special Notice THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. 25th Infantry Division, 25 Combat Aviation Brigade is seeking a training opportunity for Bambi Bucket operations. Contractor shall provide training to include (1) Basic Aerial Firefighting Training: Building on existing long line skills, this program refreshes pilots in the basics of aerial firefighting.

**(2) Advanced Aerial Firefighting:** A comprehensive program designed to train pilots to the level of proficiency and knowledge to meet/exceed USFS standards and qualifications and safely and effectively work as a wildland firefighting pilot. Ground classes cover everything from fire behavior, tactics, terminology, USFS manuals and guides, USFS check rides and carding procedures. Flight operations comprised of everything from bucket pick-ups and set downs and dipsite identification and callouts.

(3) Onsite Customer Training and Support. Job site set-up, required PPE and equipment and training on the safety, care, and handling of long and short line and rigging will also be provided. Upon contract award, the Contractor shall provide on-site Bambi Bucket training from 12-16 February 2024. This Special Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.

This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.
