## Description

The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA), Ml intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price delivery order for the procurement of commercial licenses for Siemens NFS 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) software maintenance.

**Period of Performance:** This acquisition will include one (1) 12-month year. The proposed contractor is:

Siemens Government Technologies, 2231 Crystal DR, Suite 700, Arlington, VA 22202-3711 UEI:

**CAGE:** 45Q14. Unless evidence is produced otherwise by an authorized reseller of manufacturers software, this procurement will be awarded without discussions as a sole source award to Siemens Government Technologies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

Specifically, FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) provides that supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof.
