The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the US Army Corp of Eningeers Little Rock District's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to SMFS, Inc. dba GRIMM (cage: 6TWH6) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Contractor shall provide a hydro-plant cyber range and associated control system, a replica of a lock chamber and associated control system, model dam and spillway system with the associated control system, and replica of a water treatment plant and associated control system. The scope of the project is defined by the delivery of a 5’ x 6’ Hydropower simulation system. It will consist of a pump controlled via VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) which will flow water through a Pelton Wheel. The Pelton Wheel output will feed through a step- up transformer and move to a simulated distribution “switchyard”. All necessary breakers and safeties will be provided as well as indicator lights and an HMI (Human Machine Interface) with output monitoring and control function.
