## Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) awarded a sole-source contract to Coastal AMX Marine Engine, LLC to provide OEM certified services to repair damage to Essayons Rescue Boat outdrive and boat transom. Perform annual diesel engine and stern drive maintenance. The rescue boat must be repaired and fully operational to receive USCG approval to continue to sail for dredge season. Without this Rescue Boat the vessel will not be able to continue to remain underway to perform the mission. USCG has issued a CG_835 requiring these repairs to be completed as soon as possible. The ship’s launch can be seconded as a rescue boat only during this limited repair period.
