The purpose of this requirement is to provide solid waste collection for the Lookout Point and Fall Creek Dam facilities. Per the Lane County website and hauler map, Sanipac is the only company that is authorized and able to perform these services for the Lookout Point and Fall Creek facilities. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), single source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items.
