The purchase order was for the purchase, install, and commissioning of the port side Bitzer screw A/C compressor and performance was completed satisfactorily. During the following dredge season there were issues which Permacold addressed as warranty work. It has since been determined that Bitzer would provide (through its warranty with Permacold) a compressor to remedy the potential for similar issues on the Essayons port side which could cause a shutdown in Dredge operations. Permacold is the sole contractor capable and approved by Bitzer to conduct the installation and commissioning of the compressor provided by Bitzer. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 336611.
