## Description

The primary purpose of this project is to replace the existing water line at Burchfield Branch Park, Adger, Alabama. Burchfield Branch Park is supplied water by Warrior River Water Authority in Jefferson County and is metered at the Tuscaloosa- Jefferson County line along Bankhead Road. An existing 3-inch water line along Bankhead (Lock 17) Road supplies both the park and Bankhead Lock and Dam domestic water. Multiple Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) are located along the water line to reduce system pressure increases associated with the park’s elevation changes.
