This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Murray County Sheriff’s Department is being considered as the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Murray County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency within Murray County, Georgia. They are the only source available that would be able to provide both uniformed patrol officers and marked vehicles in the recreation areas located in Murray County, GA. They are also the only source with arresting authority that can provide a jail for violations of law within these specified recreation areas. The Murray County Sheriff's Office has adequate manpower and equipment to meet this contract requirement. The services will be provided in Murray County, Georgia at Carters Lake.
