## Description

The replacement of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) containing Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in non-tactical firefighting vehicles that contain AFFF at U.S. Army Material Command (AMC) Installations. The objective of this contract is to support AMC with the removal, disposal coordination, and replacement of PFAS-containing AFFF with a PFAS-free MILSPEC firefighting foam through DLA in accordance with OPORD 23-176, Line of Operation 1 (LO1): Non-tactical firefighting vehicles and equipment.

At end state, AMC will have phased out the use of AFFF containing PFAS in all vehicles and equipment and replaced it with an approved MILSPEC Fluorine-Free Fire-Fighting Foam while maintaining firefighting capability and readiness and always protecting personnel and the environment. Contract was awarded to an 8(a)ANC that marketed itself to the Mobile District and that has a history of successfully performing enviornmental work in the past.
