## Description

This project is for the design and construction of improvements to raise the perimeter levee for the RM Clayton Water Reclamation Center located in Atlanta, Georgia. The existing levee requires tree removal and elevating the levee crest by either placing additional earthen fill or by adding floodwall to protect the water reclamation plant from surface overtopping floodwaters of the nearby Chattahoochee River and its tributaries.

The crest of the levee or floodwall shall be set at an elevation approximately 3 to 5 feet above the typical elevation for the existing levee. The government will provide the design elevation in the Phase 2 solicitation. The levee system consists of three segments, two of which are along the Chattahoochee River.
