## Description

INVITATION FOR BID W9126G26BA010 for Joe Pool Dam Slide Repair at Joe Pool Lake, Texas.  This announcement is a competitive small business set aside, firm-fixed price, Joe Pool Dam Slide Repair civil works construction services at Joe Pool Lake, Texas.  The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237990-Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction which has a small business size standard of $45 Million.  The Product Service Code is Z2PC-Repair or Alteration of Dams.  Project Scope: The contractor shall repair four shallow slides (Slides 18, 20, 21, and 28) on the upstream and downstream dam embankment slopes. Work includes the removal of slide debris; excavation of the slide area with bench-cutting into the stable embankment and a keyway into the foundation toe; lime-treatment of excavated soil; placement and compaction of treated soil to restore original design contours; and final surface restoration with riprap on the upstream slope and topsoil with vegetation on the downstream slope.
