## Description

The contract action was not awarded competitively. The Signal Operations Support Specialist course, Course #113-25U10 (R) (NS), requires the NVARNG RTI to teach the use of AN/PRC-148E, version 148(V)2 Model Radios within the classroom. Thales Defense & Security Inc. is the only known source that meets the Government's requirement as it has proprietary rights for the Manufacture/Upgrade of these radios. Thales is the only distributor authorized source to sell, service, and upgrade AN/PRC-148E Radios.
