This contract is for Full Food Services in eleven dining facilities (DFACs) at Fort Jackson for a base year and will include FAR Clause 52.217-8. The authority for soliciting a single source is FAR 6.302-5 - Authorized or Required by Statute which states that contracting officers may solicit from another agency or a specified source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The contract action is Sole Source. In accordance with FAR Subpart 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached. No solicitation or RFP will be forthcoming.
