The ceiling increase will be applicable to the remaining ordering period of the IDIQ contract, including the six month extension available under the clause FAR 52.217-8, “Option to Extend Services”. The increase of the ceiling is intended to meet both immediate and forecasted requirements until such time that a follow-on contract can be awarded.
