The maintenance contract includes routine maintenance of the software (new point and major version releases, expert resolution of general STRmixTM Scientific Support questions for a 12 month period which includes: troubleshooting case specific queries, general email queries and advice). The service covers the cost of the materials/files needed and the assistance of qualified NicheVision employee who provides instructions and troubleshooting assistance. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.
