Phase 1A is split into three acquisitions: (1) Phase 1A – Floodwall (DBB), (2) Harbor Park Pump Station (Design-Build), and (3) Newton’s Creek Pump Station (DBB). This SATOC Construction Contract is intended to cover the Phase 1A Floodwall, which will extend from the Berkley Bridge to the Campostella off-ramp. The Harbor Park and Newton’s Creek pump stations are excluded from this contract. The scope may include, but is not limited to, new construction of a bin wall, L-shaped wall backfilled and supported by H-piles, a wetland living shoreline, T-wall supported by H-piles and pipe piles, 95-foot-wide double swing gate closure at the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks, vehicular gate crossings, and a sheet pile tieback wall. The Contractor shall be required to perform all work in accordance with the access and security requirements of the customer.
