**PROJECT TITLE:**

**STARLINGS CREEK UPLAND PLACEMENT SITEPROJECT LOCATION:** SAXIS, ACCOMACK COUNTY, VA REQUIRED WORK INCLUDES DIKE RAISING AND CONSTRUCTION OF CONTAINMENT AND DIVERSION DIKES WITHIN THE FACILITY. EARTHWORK WILL INVOLVE BORROW SITE PREPARATION, CLEARING AND GRUBBING OF TREES AND BRUSH, DEWATERING, EXCAVATION, MIXING OF BORROW MATERIAL, TRANSPORT OF MATERIAL TO THE PLACEMENT AREA, STOCKPILING OF MATERIAL FOR PLACEMENT, AND GRADING. IN ADDITION TO EARTHWORK, VARIOUS SITE IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF A DAMAGED SPILLBOX WALKWAY, MAINTENANCE OF THE SITE STORMWATER DITCHES, AND PLACEMENT OF RIPRAP FOR SHORELINE PROTECTION WILL ALSO OCCUR.
