The offloading platform ties into the existing elevation and alignment of the confined disposal facility dike. The offloading platform will be used by various entities and will be mostly utilized by marine operations as a transfer site to offload equipment to include but not limited to dozers, excavators, off-road trucks, material handlers, cranes, and 18\" (O.D.) HDPE pipe. The platform will also be utilized as a material transfer site for dredged material and material staging area for Confined Disposal Facility maintenance. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is: 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $45.0 million in average annual receipts. The Government intends to solicit this opportunity as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The IFB is intended to be issued as a small business set aside, and the Government intends to award to the lowest priced bid that is determined to be responsible. General Information: The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Construction Contract. Anticipated Solicitation Posting Date: June/July 2025 Anticipated Bid Due Date: July/August 2025 The estimated date for completion of work is October 2026 The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via the System for Award Management (SAM).
