## Description

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.2 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) subsection 206.302-1, the United States Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Edgewood Contracting Division intends to negotiate and award a sole source, firm fixed price, (FAR) based procurement contract to Siga Technologies Inc. The Department of Defense requires delivery of up to 20,000 oral treatment courses and up to 30 intravenous treatment courses of TPOXX ®, to maintain the Force Health Protection’s stockpile for treatment against smallpox and other orthopoxviruses.

This procurement will assist in replacing the same oral treatment courses within the current inventory, set to expire. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action shall be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This special notice is for market research purposes and is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, responsible entities purporting to have the necessary qualifications and abilities to deliver these items may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. This type of information shall be considered by the agency. Submission instructions are provided below. The Government shall retain comments and information received in response to this Special Notice. Proprietary information should be identified/marked as “Company Proprietary”. Do not use Government Security classification markings.

Respondents are encouraged to address their abilities to deliver this requirement within 15 days of this notice. All responses shall be received on or before 4:30 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time on 13 June 2024. Submissions shall be in the form of electronic mail (email), only. Any attachments shall be in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe Portable Document (PDF) format. Material considered advertisement is not desirable.
