## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – American Chemical Society Synopsis: MICC-West Point intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13-106-1(b)(1)(i), “Only one source reasonably available” based on the company being the sole provider for the services and is therefore the only source capable of satisfying the Government requirements.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with: American Chemical Society 1155 16TH ST NW Washington, DC 20036, United States This is requirement is for one (1) subscription for twelve (12) months of digital access to the CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform offered exclusively by the American Chemical Society for the United States Military Academy Library. The NAICS code for this requirement is 519290, Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services, with a size standard of 1,000 employees.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 3/13/2025 by 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) by email to Kelly Kotlik at kelly.p.kotlik2.civ@army.mil.
