The purpose of this acquisition is to procure Aircraft Medical Stretchers to be installed directly into the aircraft seat tracks of C12 and UC-35 aircraft without modifying the aircraft. Stretcher kits are to be delivered within 90 days after the award. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this action is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source, for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Aviation Fabricators is the only known source of these products which meet FAA airworthiness standards/certification that are required for safety of flight and Army standards. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered before the notice end date.
