This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government currently intends to award a contract for Laundry and Dry-Cleaning (L&DC) Services on a sole-source basis, but is seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. \n\nThe proposed sole-source is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Arken (UEI: LQADABJE3817) for L&DC services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
\n\nThe statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 15 U.S.C. 637(m)(8), Authority for sole source contracts for small business concerns owned and controlled by women in substantially underrepresented industries, as implemented by the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) under FAR 19.107-3(b). The anticipated contract will have a one-year base ordering period and four (4) one-year ordering periods.
\n\nThe contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, and management necessary to perform non-personal Laundry and Dry-Cleaning services at JBLM. Core requirements include:
\n\nPickup and delivery of laundry to designated facilities across the installation.
\n\tLaundering and dry-cleaning of Government-owned items, including uniforms, linens, and Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE).
\n\tManaging scheduled, appointment-based pickup, delivery, and distribution of laundry to designated facilities across the installation during established operational hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 0800–1530).
\n\tStrict adherence to a 5-business-day turnaround standard.
\n\tThis notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) / Invitation for Bid (IFB) / Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future.
