## Description

Item 1 - 48 Volt Forklift Batteries, model 24-85-15 Salient Characteristics:

1. General Requirements - Battery must be fully compatible with Hyster E40XN electric forklift specifications.; Meet battery model 24-85-15 specifications; Battery must be manufactured in the United States.; Battery must meet or exceed OEM performance standards for voltage, capacity, and physical dimensions.; Battery must be suitable for Class I electric forklift applications.;

2. Electrical Performance Specifications -System Voltage: 48V, Mandatory for OEM controller compatibility.;

**Cell Count:** 24 LEAD-Acid Cells (Exact), Standard 2V per cell configuration.;

**Plate Configuration:** 15 plates per cell (Equivalent), Ensures proper energy density and heat dissipation.;

**Rated Capacity (6-hour):** 590 Ah Minimum - 610 Ah Maximum, Mates the standard 85 Ah per positive plate requirement. Must support full shift operation under normal warehouse conditions.; Cycle life Yield: 1,500 cycles at 80% DoD Minimum, Baseline durability for DoW operational tempo.;

7. Mandatory Compliance - OSHA 1910.178(g)

**Compliance:** The battery design must facilitate safe changing and charging as per Powered Industrial Truck standards, including secure covers and venting to disperse off gassing (hydrogen) safely.;

**ANSI/ITSDF B56.1 Compatibility:** The batteries weight and center of gravity must not alter the Hyster E40XNs compliance with the Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks.;

**Lifting Provision:** Must feature structurally integrated, fully welded steel lifting ears (lifting eyes) that accommodate standard non-conductive spreader bars and overhead hoists.;

8. Mandatory Warranty and Certification - U.S. Manufacturing Origin Required: The vendor must provide a formal Certificate of Origin verifying that the battery is manufactured/assembled in the United States, in compliance with the Buy American Act (BAA) / Trade Agreements Act (TAA).;

**Minimum 5-Year Prorated Warranty:** The manufacturer must provide a minimum 60-month (5-year) prorated warranty from the date of final acceptance.;

**Defects and Workmanship:** The warranty must explicitly cover all defects in materials and workmanship. The vendor must replace or repair failing cells/components at no additional cost during the initial full-coverage period, and on a prorated basis thereafter. 1. General Must Requirements - Must be fully compatible with Crown FC4510 40 (FC 4500 Series) electric forklift specifications.; Must meet battery model 24-85-17 specifications; Must be manufactured in the United States.; Must meet or exceed OEM performance standards for voltage, capacity, physical dimensions, and operation expectations.; Must be suitable for Class I sit-down counterbalance electric forklift applications.;

**2. Electrical Performance Specifications - System Voltage:** 48V, Mandatory for OEM controller compatibility.;

**Cell Count:** 24 Lead-Acid Cells (Exact), Standard 2V per cell configuration.;

**Plate Configuration:** 17 plates per cell (Equivalent), 8 positive, 9 negative plates to ensure proper energy density.;
