## Description

This is a Sources Sought notice (SS) to determine the capability of the Small Business Industry to meet a requirement to provide Fort Riley with the maintenance of and provision of 6-year tear-down services for 61 government furnished 125 lbs. wheeled fire extinguishers. This Sources Sought is for information purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach, nor should it be construed as a commitment by the Government.

**Description(s):** This Sources Sought is to provide Fort Riley with information as to potential providers of labor for the maintenance of 125 lbs. wheeled fire extinguishers. The service required will be the six-year tear-down servicing of these fire extinguishers. This involves removing and replacing the extinguisher chemical and checking the condition of the individual parts of the fire extinguisher.

There are currently 13 fire extinguishers which require this service, and more will require this service in the future. There may also be a future need for de-milling/decommission of this same variety of 125 lbs wheeled fire extinguishers in the future. This would occur when the fire extinguisher reaches 12 years since it manufacture date. Both of the above services would be performed on an as-directed basis.
