## Description

Red River Army Depot has a requirement to rebuild fire extinguishers that requires HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE agent. HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE is a colorless, odorless gaseous halocarbon commonly used as a gaseous fire suppression agent. The reclaim operation of this agent still requires minimal purchases of the agent to complete all rebuild quantities. The contractor shall provide HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE, DuPont FM200 in 1,200 pound cylinders.

The HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE shall be in 1,200 pound cylinders with a minimum of 99% 1,1,1,2,3,3,3 -HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE with CAS (Chemical Abstract Service), #431890. NIIN (National Item Identification Number), 01 588 2740 - HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE, Fire suppressant, ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) International P/N (Part Number), ASTMD6064TYPEII, 1,200 Lb. Cylinder, Refrigerant GAS R-227, Cylinder Water Capacity 1,000 Pounds. Service Pressure 300PSI, 30 Inches Diameter X 50 Inches Height.
