ACC-APG, Natick Division intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract modification under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) for additional work to SMART LLC, located at 160 Second Street, Suite 216, Chelsea, MA 02150-1800. The proposed work is the removal of DowTherm J from the Doriot Climatic Chambers Wind Tunnel fluid systems and storage tanks in/around Building 2 at the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center. Subsequently, the Contractor will replumb the Tropical Wind Tunnel water circulation system with copper piping to alleviate ongoing leaks with the existing schedule 80 piping. The period of performance will run twenty (20) weeks after issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP). It is anticipated that this contract modification will be awarded on or before September 15, 2026. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. There is no solicitation document. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which would be considered by the agency.
