The intent of this RFI is to understand what products are currently available on the marketplace and can be produced within reasonable lead times. This is not intended to be a development effort. The mission uniform is to provide protection against both natural and man-made environmental conditions and hazards. These include protection against contact with hot metal such as a suppressor or fragments from breaching. Environmental protection includes temperate to hot conditions (50F to 110F) performing high output activity. Conditions include natural hazards such as rocky terrain, damaged structures presenting snag hazards, abrasion and slash hazards. Joint protection is necessary including bump and abrasion against pressure points of the knees and elbows and allow user adjustability to obtain proper fit. Design configuration requires commutability with load carriage equipment to include body armor, load carriage, hoist harness and gun belts. The design requires a functional configuration of pockets to support base line assaulter equipment. Dynamic movement such as running, climbing of ropes and ladders and ability to shoot and move must be unrestricted. The requirement includes a trouser, combat shirt and blouse, desired sizing the 5” – 95th percentile both male and female sizing and fit. Both solid and Multi Cam print options are required.
