The pouch shall support the following: Retains the MK22 10-round magazine. Compatible with existing Modular, Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) systems such as current load bearing equipment, protective vests/plate carriers, and battle belts. Flap retention – Flap may be removable and have no exaggerated tab for gripping. Friction retention - Friction shall be accomplished by incorporating an elastic-type material to the outer edges of the magazine pouch. Elastic cord retention - Elastic cord retention that is capable of being removed by the user. The elastic cord shall connect to the main structure of the pouch and shall be capable of retaining 10-round magazines. The cord shall be capable of exposing the magazine for use without impeding the main compartment of the magazine pouch. The cord shall have a device that allows for adjustment toward stiffness applied to the magazine. Provides a minimum of 120 days of field use. Fabrics shall be Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP).
