## Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-Europe intends to issue a solicitation for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning (HEC) and Linen Laundry Services in support of the mission at U.S. Army Health Clinic - Vicenza (USAHC-V) in Vicenza, Italy. HEC services are the cleanliness, disinfection and aesthetic maintenance of public and patient care spaces within Department of Defense (DoD) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).

The Contractor is responsible for the performance of the entire scope of HEC and linen laundry operations including management activities such as planning, scheduling, cost accounting, report preparation and submission, establishing and maintaining records, quality control, and performance management. The resulting contract will be a Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with ordering periods totalling five (5) years.

The anticipated ordering periods are from 01 September 2025 to 30 August 2030. The 30-day phase-in period will begin on 01 September 2025. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 561720, Janitorial Services with a size standard of $22M. The Federal Procurement Data System Product and Service Code (PSC) for specialized, aseptic “Healthcare Environmental Cleaning” services is PSC Q901.

An ability to meet run-of-the-mill “janitorial” or “custodial” services standards, PSC S201, would not be sufficient to satisfy the mission-essential requirements of the Performance Work Statement (draft attached). The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW Part 13.5. A copy of the Request for Quotes will be published on or about 03 June 2025. The RFQ will be posted as a related item to this notice.

Interested vendors are strongly encouraged to “follow” this notice to receive updates. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to response to the solicitation, and lack of registration shall make a quotation ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
