Through updated market research and the performance of an in-scope determination between the LVC-IA and DIL requirements, the Government has identified tremendous benefit to move the DIL effort to the LVC-IA contract vehicle. The DIL requirements have the same scope as the LVC-IA contract scope, the LVC-IA contract has sufficient contract ceiling, and the PoP remaining to support the DIL requirements. The revised acquisition strategy also provides additional benefits to the Government in regard to cost savings, schedule benefits, and resource allocation.
