The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to make a sole source award to Sysmex America for a firm fixed-price contract for one (1) XN-1000BB Automated Hematology Analyzer for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii.

The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements.
