Every 40 days a new generator will be swapped in the infusion system which also provides a radiation safety component. The infusion system checks for Strontium break thru which can be harmful for the patient. The system checks every dose that it administrates to the patients. It also does weight-based dosing. It will deliver a dose based on the patients weight larger patients get a bigger dose to help improve image quality, while smaller patients will get a smaller dose reducing their radiation exposure.
