## Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West, Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price sole source BPA Call against W81K00-23-A-0006, to Community Blood Center dba Community Tissue Services under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(a)(1)(I)(B), to provide allograft human tissue for the Department of Surgery (DOS/SPD), Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Ft. Sam Houston, TX.

The BPA call will be awarded on or about 10 June 2024. The primary NAICS code is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing Product Service Code is 6515, Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies Size standard of 800 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. All of the following listed Salient Characteristics for this requirement are applicable to Community Tissue Allograft Skin:

a. Must be Food and Drug Administration (FDA), American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), and regulated by The Joint Commission (TJC) compliant.

b. Must be able to meet standards set forth by the above governing agencies and conform to the rules and regulations set forth by Army Medical Command.

c. Must be able to provide a myriad of different tissues, allografts, and supplies associated with surgery.

d. May provide safe biologic, metal, and synthetic implants.

e. Shall also provide clinical solutions to wound management, reconstructive surgery, abdominal, and incisional management, but not limited to the items previous cited.
