The maximum quantity includes a quantity for FMS. Although technical data to include a Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-2840-265&P is available for this effort, it is restricted to approved sources only. The T-55 Engine, Aircraft, Turbine is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and must only be overhauled by approved sources. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency’s requirement. The only approved sources are Honeywell International, Inc. (CAGE 99193) and Columbia Helicopters, Inc. (CAGE 7W206). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures at: http://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR. Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending SARs. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
