## Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Services for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Air Systems Maintenance, SCOTT Brand equipment for Aberdeen Proving Ground's Fire & Emergency Services Division. The government requires maintenance, inspection and annual certification on SCBA Units, Breathing Air bottles/cylinders, RIT Packs, SKA/SAR Packs, Airline Hoses, Face Masks and Air Carts.

Market Research has indicated that Municipal Emergency Services (MES) Inc., located at 250 Industrial Drive, Suite D, Fredericksburg, VA 22408-2468, is the only contractor who is able to provide SCOTT qualified technicians, appropriate equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to the equipment located at the Fire & Emergency Services to keep them within NFPA, manufacturer and government specifications as defined in the Statement of Work.

All responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government by responsible sources. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed modification based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement as listed.

Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
