Market research was performed and information gathered in determing this company to be the only source for this requirement. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.207(c)(15), the proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This notice does not constitute a solicitation-a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB)-and does not restrict the Government in any way regarding its ultimate acquisition approach. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals; however, if any other interested party believes that it can meet the requirements, it may submit a statement of capabilities, which if timely received, will be considered by ACC-RI.
